H. G. Wells introduced me
to the idea of moving around in time with his book, THE TIME
MACHINE. After that, I read other stories
that played with the concept - such as THE DOOR INTO SUMMER
by Robert Heinlein and UP THE LINE, by Robert Silverberg.
I was fascinated with the subject, and when I began writing,
I thought about using time travel in a book of my own. My
first venture into this realm, PRINCE OF TIME, had a different
take on the basic theme.
