I've been writing romantic thrillers for Harlequin Intrigue since the early 1990's. I love writing stories about a man and a woman falling in love against a background of danger and suspense. Many of my Intrigues are in my 43 Light Street series. The building is at a (made-up) address near Baltimore's Inner Harbor. It's an office building where many of my Light Street characters work. And I guarantee, if you move in there, someone will come at you with a knife or a gun. One thing I love about doing the series is bringing back the heroes and heroines from previous stories. If I need a doctor, a lawyer, a detective, or a space alien--I've got someone readers know and like. And readers can find out what's been happening to my characters since they were first introduced. Because many of my Light Street books have paranormal elements, you'll find those listed under "Paranormal."

I loved getting into Ariana’s head. She was so uptight at the beginning of the story that she wouldn’t even dance with Shane. By the end of the book, she’s making love in the back of a limo.

I also loved researching the Boston locations for this book-from Copley Square to the undercroft of Trinity Church to the beautiful residential neighborhoods of the Back Bay.

RILEY’S RETRIBUTION (ISBN: B000OXCEK2, Harlequin Intrigue) closes the Big Sky series with a twist. Riley Watson goes under cover on Courtney Rogers’ ranch to track down Boone Fowler and his dangerous militiamen who are renting some of her property. Is Courtney working with them?
